By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 17 – Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas Holdings, LLC has asked for another extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the company asked the court to extend the plan filing period through May 30 from Feb. 28 and the solicitation period through July 27 from April 28.

The company said that it is currently analyzing and reconciling claims and working to finalize transition services agreements and bring the Chapter 11 cases to a conclusion.

A hearing is scheduled for March 16.

The Austin, Tex.-based dine-in movie theater chain filed bankruptcy on March 3, 2021 under Chapter 11 case number 21-10474.
