Prospect News reports six new defaults for Feb. 25-March 3 period

Olympia, Wash., March 5 – Prospect News reported six new defaults for the week of Feb. 25 through March 3.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 filings made by Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas Holdings, LLC, Paper Source, Inc., Consulate Health Care (CMC II, LLC), Castex Energy 2005 Holdco, LLC (Castex Energy Partners, LP), Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. and MobiTV, Inc.

So far in 2021, Prospect News has reported 37 defaults, including 28 voluntary Chapter 11 filings, three missed interest payments, two Chapter 15 filings and one each of involuntary Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filings, Chapter 11 filings, missed principal payments and safeguard proceedings.

The six companies with Chapter 11 filings made in the week listed over $1.42 billion in assets and over $2.92 billion in liabilities.
