Moody’s gives Haiken notes Baa2

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 senior unsecured rating to the proposed dollar-denominated notes to be issued by Hainan State Farms International (HK) Co., Ltd. and guaranteed by Hainan State Farms Investment Holdings Group Co., Ltd.

“The Baa2 senior unsecured rating for the proposed U.S. dollar notes reflects the irrevocable and unconditional guarantee from Haiken Group, and the fact that these notes will rank pari passu with all other unsecured and unsubordinated obligations of Haiken Group,” Moody’s said in a press release.

Haiken Group will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
