WorldVentures official committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 25 – Spherature Investments LLC’s, which does business as WorldVentures, official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed by Region 6 U.S. trustee William T. Neary, according to a notice filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The committee members are Melody Yiro, represented by Lindemann Law Firm, based in Beverly Hills, Calif., Peter Powderham of Lavender OAST, based in England, Efrosyni Adamides, based in Nicosia, Cyprus, and David Watson, based in Lone Tree, Colo.

Plano, Tex.-based WorldVentures sells travel and lifestyle community memberships. The company filed bankruptcy on Dec. 21 under Chapter 11 case number 20-42492.
