Cabarrus County, N.C., to sell $56.57 million COPs Wednesday

New York, Sept. 22 - Cabarrus County in North Carolina intends to price its previously announced $56.57 million in series 2008C certificates of participation on Wednesday, according to a calendar of upcoming sales.

The bonds (Aa3/AA/AA-) will be sold through senior manager Southwest Securities.

The bonds are due 2011 to 2029.

Proceeds will fund the construction and improvement costs of a 460-bed facility for county inmates.
