Lloyds calls all of HBOS Sterling’s £245 million 7.881% preferreds

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan. 4 – Lloyds Capital Group GP Ltd., as general partner in accordance with its limited partnership agreement, issued a redemption notice for all outstanding £245 million 7.881% guaranteed nonvoting noncumulative preferred securities issued by HBOS Sterling Finance (Jersey) LP (ISIN: GB0058327924), according to an announcement.

The securities will be redeemed at the capital redemption price plus accrued distributions on Feb. 4.

The total redemption price will be calculated three business days before the redemption.

HBOS plc holds £237,327,000 of the outstanding notes.

HBOS Sterling Finance (Jersey) is a subsidiary of HBOS plc, which is a banking and insurance company in the United Kingdom and a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group plc.
