Wallenius Wilhelmsen to conduct fixed-income investor calls

Lexington, Ky., Aug. 15 – Wallenius Wilhelmsen ASA has mandated Danske Bank, DNB Markets, Nordea and Sparebank 1 Markets as joint lead managers to arrange a series of fixed-income investor meetings beginning Aug. 16, according to a notice.

The meetings will consider the issue of a sustainability-linked five-year krone-denominated senior floating-rate bond, subject to market conditions.

The company stated in the notice that it may consider a buyback of its bonds labeled WALWIL03 (ISIN NO0010891971) due Sept. 9, 2024 in conjunction with the new bond issue.

Proceeds from the bond issue will be used for partial refinancing of existing debt and general corporate purposes.

The Lysaker, Norway-based issuer is a shipping company.
