Prospect News reports four new defaults for week of Oct. 22-Oct. 28

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 30 – Prospect News reported four new defaults for the week of Oct. 22 through Oct. 28.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings made by Studio Movie Grill Holdings, LLC, Rubio's Restaurants, Inc. and NS8 Inc., and a Companies’ Creditor Arrangement Act application made by Le Chateau Inc.

So far in 2020, Prospect News has reported 269 defaults, including 191 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, 30 missed interest payments, 12 Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, six each of missed principal payments and CCAA filings, four missed payments, three each of missed interest and principal payments, Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings and defaults, two each of administrations, CBCA filings and scheme of arrangement proceedings and one each of restructurings, reorganizations, appointments of receivers and Danish Section 11b filings.

The three companies that filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week listed over $110 million in assets and over $300 million in liabilities.
