Metronomic requests exclusivity extension to evaluate, resolve claims

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 20 – Metronomic Holdings, LLC is seeking an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Specifically, the company asked the court to extend the plan filing period through April 6 and the solicitation period through May 21.

Metronomic’s chief restructuring officer continues to negotiate and address issues with respect to multiple creditors, properties and other assets and interests of the estate, the company said.

The company said it needs more time to evaluate the claims that have been filed and potentially resolve some disputed claims prior to filing a plan.

Metronomic is a Coral Gables, Fla.-based sustainable real estate developer. The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Sept. 23 under case number 20-20310.
