Banco de Brasil to redeem 8½% perpetual subordinated securities

New York, Sept. 14 – Banco de Brasil SA plans to redeem all of its 8½% perpetual non-cumulative junior subordinated securities (Cusip: 05959LAA1) on Oct. 20, according to a company announcement.

On the redemption date, the base redemption price of $851,012,000, plus $36,168,000 accrued interest, will be paid.

Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent.

Banco de Brasil is based in Rio de Janeiro.
