S&P gives KKR Group notes A

S&P said it assigned its A issue rating to KKR Group Finance Co. VIII LLC's proposed senior unsecured notes due in 2050. KKR Group Finance Co. VIII is an issuing subsidiary of KKR & Co. Inc.

The company is expected to use the proceeds to partially fund the acquisition of Global Atlantic Financial Group, S&P said.
