S&P cuts Buenos Aires Province

S&P said it downgraded Buenos Aires Province to CC from CCC after it announced it will delay the Jan. 26 amortization payment on its 2021 bond.

The province is soliciting the consent of bondholders to amend the terms and conditions of its 2021 bond and delay this payment until May 1.

The outlook is negative.
