Buenos Aires sets talk in mid-10% area for six-year dollar notes; pricing expected Tuesday

By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, June 2 – Buenos Aires set initial talk in the mid-10% area for an offering of six-year benchmark-sized and dollar-denominated notes, a market source said.

BNP Paribas and BofA Merrill Lynch are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal. Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires is the co-manager.

The proceeds will be used to fund social, infrastructure and other public investment projects, as well as to improve the debt maturity profile of the province.

The notes are expected to price on Tuesday.
