Muji U.S.A. exclusive periods to file, solicit votes on plan extended

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 19 – Muji U.S.A. Ltd. obtained an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the company’s exclusive period to file a plan was extended through Jan. 6, and its exclusive period to solicit votes was extended through March 7.

Muji is a New York-based apparel and food retailer. The company filed bankruptcy on July 10 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11805.
