Aldrich Pump: Terms of mediation with asbestos claimants established

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 6 – The terms of mediation between Aldrich Pump LLC and present and future asbestos claimants and other parties have been established, according to an order filed Feb. 3 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

The parties agreed to have Timothy V.P. Gallagher and Eric D. Green lead the mediation.

Subject to availability, mediation sessions will begin no later than May 31, unless extended by the court.

The mediation will be focused on a comprehensive resolution of the debtors’ liability to present and future asbestos claimants, which includes a Chapter 11 plan and all matters related to the estimation and plan treatment of personal injury claims against the debtors’ estates.

Davidson, N.C.-based Aldrich provides climate control solutions. The company filed bankruptcy on June 17, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-30608.
