Klausner Lumber Two gets four-month extension of exclusive periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., March 25 – Klausner Lumber Two, LLC obtained a second four-month extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the court extended the plan filing period through June 8 from Feb. 8 and the solicitation period through Aug. 9 from April 7.

The company said in its motion that it intends to use the extended exclusive periods to, among other things, resolve asserted claims and draft and negotiate a consensual plan.

Klausner Lumber Two is an Enfield, N.C., sawmill and lumber company. The company filed bankruptcy on June 10, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11518.
