Moody’s assigns Zurich notes A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2(hyb) rating to the guaranteed subordinated fixed-rate reset notes due May 2052 and callable from February 2032 to be issued by Zurich Finance (Ireland) DAC and guaranteed by Zurich Insurance Co. Ltd.

“The rating is based on ZF Ireland's (P)A2 euro medium term note (EMTN) backed subordinated program rating of Zurich's multi-issuer $18 billion EMTN program,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.
