Advisors Disciplined Trust 774 registers Risk Mitigated Return units

San Diego, March 28 - Advisors Disciplined Trust 774 has registered units of its Advisors Risk Mitigated Return Portfolio, S&P 500 Daily Risk Control 5% Excess Return Index Principal Protected Series 1, according to an S-6 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Monument, Colo.-based Advisors Asset Management, Inc.

The trust will seek to provide capital appreciation potential combined with principal protection for investors that hold units to maturity in 2022. The portfolio will consist of options linked to the S&P 500 Daily Risk Control 5% Excess Return Index as well as U.S. Treasury obligations.

The public offering price per unit at inception will be $1,000, of which $960 represents the principal amount of Treasury obligations. Each unit will carry a maximum sales fee of 3.5%, consisting of a 1% initial sales fee, a 2% deferred sales fee and a 0.5% creation and development fee.

The trust's inception date is planned for April.
