Advisors Disciplined Trust 833 offers High 50 Dividend units

Minneapolis, March 20 - Advisors Disciplined Trust 833 is offering units of its High 50 Dividend Strategy Portfolio, Series 2012-1Q, according to an S-6 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Monument, Colo.-based Advisors Asset Management, Inc.

The trust seeks to provide above average total return by investing in a portfolio of stocks selected using a specialized dividend-oriented strategy that seeks above average total return.

On March 20, the trust's inception date, $148,328 of contracts to purchase securities comprised the trust. The 14,983 units have an initial offering price of $10 and a net asset value of $9.665 each. The estimated net annual distribution is $0.5146 per unit.

Each unit carries a maximum sales fee of 2.95%, which is comprised of an initial sales fee of 1%, a deferred sales fee of 1.45% and a creation and development fee of 0.5%. Sales charge reductions of up to 1.4% of the public offering price are available based on the amount of the investment.

The trust has a mandatory termination date of June 20, 2013.
