Advisors Disciplined Trust 803 registers Global Gold Income units

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 14 - Advisors Disciplined Trust 803 registered units of its Global Gold Income Portfolio, series 2012-1Q, in an S-6 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Monument, Colo.-based Advisors Asset Management, Inc.

The portfolio pursues a covered call option writing strategy consisting of common stocks of foreign and domestic companies involved in aspects of the gold industry, shares of exchange-traded funds and Treasuries. The stocks and ETF shares are subject to call options in the form of Long Term Equity AnticiPation Securities. The writing of the Leaps generates premium income, which is used to purchase the Treasuries.

The distribution dates will occur quarterly.

The inception date will be sometime in January. The unit price will be $10.00, and the minimum investment will be 100 units.

The maximum sales fee is expected to be 3.95% including a 1% initial sales fee, a 2.35% deferred sales fee and a 0.6% creation and development fee. Reductions in the sales fee are available on a sliding scale down to 2.45% depending on the number of units purchased.

The termination date has not been set.
