BTIG hires Alexander Piper to head high-yield team, grow fixed income

Milwaukee, March 3 - BTIG LLC announced that it has hired Alexander Piper as a director of its fixed-income high-yield sales team.

Prior to BTIG, Piper was with Imperial Capital, where he spent five years in high-yield, bank debt and equity sales, and Jefferies, where he handled bonds direct.

Piper has a B.A. in political science from Villanova and an MBA in management and finance from Fordham.

BTIG is a New York-based institutional brokerage and fund services company.
