Ken Garff Automotive driving by with $375 million eight-year notes; initial talk in 5¼% area

Portland, Ore., Sept. 9 – Ken Garff Automotive LLC plans to price $375 million of eight-year notes in a Wednesday drive-by, according to a market source.

Initial talk has the deal coming to yield in the 5¼% area.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the lead.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

The prospective issuer is a Salt Lake City-based auto retailer.
