Columbus, Ohio, May 31 – Energir LP priced a private placement of C$400 million of 4.83% 30-year series 2023-1 first mortgage bonds (A//DBRS: A) at 99.953 on Wednesday, according to a news release.
Desjardins Capital Markets, National Bank Financial Markets and Scotia Capital Inc. acted as joint bookrunners and co-lead private placement agents. BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., TD Securities Inc. and Casgrain & Co. Ltd. are agents.
The company will use the proceeds to repay debt and for general corporate purposes.
Montreal-based Energir is a diversified energy company.
