By Tali David

Minneapolis, Dec. 10 - Brownstone Investment Group announced the continued expansion of its trading platform with the addition of emerging markets debt, according to press release.

Brownstone will focus initially on Latin American corporate bonds and quasi-sovereign credits domiciled in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru, as well as on providing liquidity in select Asian and European Union issuers.

Directors Andrew Bazylevsky and Brian Krueger lead the emerging markets trading and sales unit. Bazylevsky brings nearly 15 years of experience in trading corporate bonds, while Krueger has been involved with emerging markets debt sales for over 25 years.

The firm plans to hire additional professionals with emerging markets experience and relationships in order to further expand its offering of Latin American, Central and Eastern European, Middle Eastern and African credits, the release said.

New York-based Brownstone is a fixed-income investment firm.
