S&P moves Turk Hava to negative

S&P revised Turk Hava Yollari AO’s (Turkish Airlines) to negative and affirmed the agency’s B long-term issuer credit rating and the issue rating for the airline’s aircraft-backed enhanced-equipment trust certificates.

The revision for the government-related entity is related to a similar action for sovereign Turkiye.

S&P sees risks to the sovereign's creditworthiness due to “untenable monetary, financial, and economic policy settings.”

The rating for the company is capped by the rating for Turkiye.
