S&P puts Natura, Avon on watch

S&P said it placed its BB- global and brAA+ national scale ratings on Natura&Co on CreditWatch with negative implications. The agency also placed its ratings on Avon Products on CreditWatch negative.

“The Covid-19 outbreak has led to severe restrictions impairing regular daily business operations. The effects on Natura&Co's metrics are uncertain, mainly considering it's not yet clear how long current restrictions could remain in place,” said S&P in a press release.

The agency expects to resolve the placements when it has better visibility on the potential effect the current situation has on the companies’ metrics and liquidity.
