Prospect News reports five new defaults for week of Feb. 20-Feb. 26

Pittsburgh, Feb. 28 – Prospect News reported five new defaults for the week of Feb. 20 through Feb. 26.

Specifically, Prospect News reported Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings made by Suitable Technologies, Inc., Alpha Guardian, Affiliated Creditors, Inc. and Hartshorne Holdings LLC and a missed principal payment on Peking University Founder Group Co. Ltd.’s super short-term commercial paper.

In addition, Prospect News reported a missed principal payment on Qinghai Provincial Investment Group Co. Ltd.’s 7¼% bonds due 2020. However, Qinghai Provincial had previously defaulted in connection with a Jan. 10 missed interest payment.

So far in 2020, Prospect News has reported 43 defaults, including 31 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, six missed interest payments, four missed principal payments and one each of missed payments and Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings.
