Fitch boosts SNCF
Fitch Ratings said it upgraded SNCF SA's long-term issuer default rating to AA- from A+.
“The upgrade reflects Fitch's view of the increased social and political implications of default driven by SNCF SA's key role in the government's infrastructure and green transition strategies, as well as the increased political implications of a default for the French government and the E.U.'s push towards more sustainable mobility solutions,” the agency said in a press release.
The outlook is negative.
