Moody's gives Carrier notes Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it gave Baa3 ratings to Carrier Global Corp.'s new senior unsecured notes.

Carrier’s other ratings, including the Baa3 senior unsecured notes, are unchanged, Moody’s said.

Carrier will use the proceeds to partly fund its purchase of Viessman Climate Solutions as well as pay related transaction fees and expenses.

The outlook is positive.
