Howmet Aerospace to redeem $200 million portion of 5.125% notes

Columbus, Ohio, July 31 – Howmet Aerospace, Inc. issued a notice to redeem a $200 million potion of its 5.125% notes due 2024 (Cusip: 013817AW1) on Sept. 28, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As of July 31, the amount outstanding of the notes was $905,273,000.

The redemption price will be the greater of par and a make-whole amount at the Treasury rate plus 40 basis points. Holders will also receive accrued interest. The total redemption amount, which is expected to be about $205 million, will be paid with cash on hand.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
