Lucky’s granted OK to sell five Florida stores for $11.5 million

Pittsburgh, April 28 – Lucky’s Market Parent Co., LLC received court approval to sell five of its stores located in Florida to Publix Super Markets, Inc., according to an order filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
As previously reported, Publix agreed to serve as the stalking horse bidder for five of the stores, with an $11.5 million bid.
The order said no competing bids were received.
Lucky’s is a Niwot, Colo.-based supermarket operator. The company filed bankruptcy on Jan. 27 under Chapter 11 case number 20-10166.
