By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 24 – Hermitage Offshore Services Ltd. obtained court approval of the bid procedures for the proposed sale of the company’s offshore vessels, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

As previously reported, bidders are being asked to submit a separate offer for each vessel on which they are bidding.

Under the proposed procedures, bids will be due by 4 p.m. ET on Oct. 1.

An auction will be held on Oct. 7, if necessary.

A sale hearing, if the auction is held, will take place on Oct. 13.

The minimum bid for vessels will be $5 million and the minimum bid for crew boats will be $350,000.

Hermitage Offshore is a Hamilton, Bermuda-based offshore support vessel company that owns 23 vessels operating primarily in the North Sea or the West Coast of Africa. The company filed bankruptcy on Aug. 11 under Chapter 11 case number 20-11850.
