S&P ups British Airways from junk
S&P said it raised its long-term issuer credit rating on British Airways plc (BA) to BBB- from BB+ following the same rating action on its parent, International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (IAG).
S&P also raised the issue ratings on BA's 2019-1 class AA and 2021-1 class A enhanced equipment trust certificates to AA- from A+, its 2019-1 class A EETCs to BBB+ from BBB and its 2021-1 class B EETCs to A- from BBB+.
The agency also affirmed the issue ratings on BA's other EETCs.
The outlook is stable.
