Moody’s assigns Service Properties notes Baa3

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 rating to Service Properties Trust’s proposed offering of guaranteed senior unsecured notes.

Proceeds will be used to repay amounts outstanding on its credit facility.

Service Properties’ Ba1 corporate family rating and senior unsecured debt ratings are unchanged, Moody’s said.

The outlook remains negative.
