Datang Environment plans medium-term notes of up to RMB 3 billion

Lexington, Ky., Sept. 18 – China’s Datang Environment Industry Group Co., Ltd. will seek the approval of shareholders to issue medium-term notes, dependent on subsequent capital requirements and market conditions, at its general meeting on Oct. 10, according to a notice.

The company intends to apply to register and issue medium-term notes of up to RMB 3 billion with an issuance period capped at one year.

Prior to submitting an application to China’s National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, the board’s proposal must be considered and approved at the company’s general meeting.

To be eligible to attend and vote at the meeting, all transfer documents must be lodged with the Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Ltd. by 4:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 4.

The register of members will be closed from Oct. 5 to Oct. 10.

Proxies must be returned to the H share registrar or the company’s board office before 4 a.m. ET on Oct. 9.

Shareholders of record as of Oct. 10 are eligible to attend and vote at the meeting, which is scheduled for 4 a.m. ET on Oct. 10.

Proceeds will be used to replenish working capital, repay debt and invest in projects.

The solutions provider of environmental protection and energy conservation for coal-fired plants is based in Beijing.
