Moody's rates Bridgestone A3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned the A3 issuer rating to Bridgestone Corp.

At the same time, Moody's placed the A3 issuer rating on review for possible upgrade.

The rating review reflects Moody's growing confidence that Bridgestone will likely be able to maintain its current solid operating performance and adequate financial flexibility over the medium term based on its competitive market position in the global tire market, the agency said.
