By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Feb. 12 – George Washington Bridge Bus Station Development Venture LLC will participate in mediation led by court-appointed mediator judge Michael E. Wiles, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

“At the suggestion of the court, the debtor, New York City Regional Center, LLC, Tutor Perini Building Corp., Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corp. and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have agreed to meet with judge Wiles to make a good faith attempt to resolve certain disputes through non-binding mediation,” the order said.

The disputes to be mediated were not specified in the order.

George Washington Bridge Bus Station Development Venture is a Reston, Va.-based development company. The company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 7 under Chapter 11 case number 19-13196.
