New Issue: India’s Bharti Airtel unit sells $750 million of 5.65% perpetuals

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 15 – Bharti Airtel Ltd. subsidiary Network i2i Ltd. sold $750 million of 5.65% subordinated perpetual securities (expected ratings: /BB/BB), according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Lead managers and bookrunners for the securities were Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Ltd., Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd., J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Merrill Lynch (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank.

Bharti Airtel guarantees the Rule 144A and Regulation S securities.

Bharti Airtel is a mobile telecommunications company based in New Delhi.
