India’s Bharti Airtel unit to sell dollar-denominated perpetuals

Olympia, Wash., Oct. 8 – Bharti Airtel Ltd. subsidiary Network i2i Ltd. plans to sell benchmark-size dollar-denominated guaranteed perpetual securities (expected ratings: BB/BB), according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Bharti Airtel will guarantee the Rule 144A and Regulation S securities.

The company said it has approached investors for the proposed issuance through joint bookrunners and joint lead managers. Pricing will be determined through a bookbuilding process.

Bharti Airtel is a mobile telecommunications company based in New Delhi.
