More than $5 billion in CLOs have priced in month to date; several refinancings eyed

Chicago, Oct. 7 – In a strong start to October, more than $5 billion in dollar-denominated deals have either entered the collateralized loan obligation market as either new paper or as a refinancing on a vintage transaction.

The average volume in a week of recorded deals is approximately $2.71 billion, according to data compiled by Prospect News.

Notable in the first week of October is a debut offering via AGL CLO Credit Management LLC.

In the investment-grade CBO/CDO/CLO market, $242.21 million was exchanged for an average price of 99.

In the non-investment grade sector, $68.78 million moved around, for an average price of 82.7.

Several notes, or classes of notes from various portfolios, are gearing up to be refinanced.

On Oct. 15, AMMC CLO 19, Ltd./AMMC CLO 19, Corp. will refinance three series of notes.

Burnham Park CLO, Ltd./Burnham Park CLO, LLC is getting ready for a redemption via refinancing of its class A notes on Oct. 21.

Similarly, Wellfleet CLO 2017-1, Ltd./Wellfleet CLO 2017-1, LLC will also redeem its class A-1 notes on Oct. 21 via refinancing proceeds.

Apex Credit CLO 2016 Ltd./Apex Credit CLO 2016 LLC will refinance three series of notes on Oct. 28.

And, Cairn CLO VII BV has been directed to redeem three classes of notes on Oct. 31 via refinancing proceeds.
