Hollister Construction Services to reorganize through Chapter 11 case

Pittsburgh, Sept. 12 – Hollister Construction Services, LLC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

According to a message on the company’s website, “This difficult decision was made after careful consideration, but one that the company’s leadership is confident will allow Hollister to continue its operations through reorganization.”

Hollister said its primary lender and bonding company are working closely with the company as part of the process.

The company has requested court approval to use the cash collateral of pre-bankruptcy secured lender PNC Bank, NA.

The cash collateral will be used to fund Hollister’s operations while in bankruptcy.

According to court documents, Hollister has $100 million to $500 million in both assets and debt.

The company’s largest unsecured creditors are Tore Electric Co. of Dover, N.J., with a $1.72 million claim; Orion Interiors, Inc. of Raritan, N.J., with a $1.53 million claim; Air Group, LLC of Whippany, N.J., with a $1.4 million claim; KF Mechanical of Fairfield, N.J., with a $1.22 million claim; Fabicon of Savage, Minn., with a $1.11 million claim; FM Construction Group, LLC of East Orange, N.J., with a $1.04 million claim; and FortHill Industries Inc. of Coram, N.Y., with a $1.02 million claim.

Hollister is a Parsippany, N.J.-based construction company. The Chapter 11 case number is 19-27439.
