Fitch puts China property developers under observation

Fitch Ratings said it placed 29 Chinese property developers under criteria observation following the conversion of the agency's Exposure Draft: Sector Navigators - Addendum to the Corporate Rating Criteria into final criteria on Oct. 15. A UCO status indicates that ratings could change because of the application of a new or revised criterion after its publication.

“Industry conditions and the funding environment have weakened since the release of the ED in early August following the distress of China Evergrande Group (C). Therefore, the impact of the criteria will be greater than our expectations at the release of the ED,” Fitch said in a press release.

The companies are BCG Chinastar International Investment Ltd., Beijing Capital Group Co. Ltd., Beijing Capital Development Holding (Group) Co., Ltd., Beijing Hongkun Weiye Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., China Aoyuan Group Ltd., China Jinmao Holdings Group Ltd., China SCE Group Holdings Ltd., China South City Holdings Ltd., CIFI Holdings (Group) Co. Ltd., Guangzhou R&F Properties Co. Ltd., Guorui Properties Ltd., Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd., KWG Group Holdings Ltd., Logan Group Co. Ltd., LVGEM (China) Real Estate Investment Co. Ltd. Longfor Group Holdings Ltd., Radiance Group Co., Ltd., R&F Properties (HK) Co. Ltd., Risesun Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., Ronshine China Holdings Ltd., Shinsun Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd., Sino-Ocean Group Holding Ltd., Sunac China Holdings Ltd., Times China Holdings Ltd., Xinhu Zhongbao Co., Ltd., Yango Group Co., Ltd., Yuzhou Group Holdings Co.
