Italian soccer team AS Roma talks €275 million five-year secured notes to yield in 5¼% area

Portland, Ore., Aug. 1 – A.S. Roma SpA and its subsidiary, ASR Media and Sponsorship SpA, talked a €275 million offering of senior secured notes due 2024 (BB-) to yield in the 5¼% area, according to a market source.
The roadshow is scheduled to end Thursday.
Goldman Sachs is leading the deal.
The Rome-based professional soccer team plans to use the proceeds to repay the existing debt of ARS Media and Sponsorship and to provide the company with financial resources for is business.
