JPMorgan plans to price annual interest CDs linked to Brazilian real

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 3 - JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA plans to price annual interest certificates of deposit due Feb. 25, 2018 linked to the performance of the Brazilian real relative to the dollar, according to a term sheet.

Interest will be payable annually. If the real has depreciated relative to the dollar on the interest determination date, the coupon for that year will be 1%. Otherwise, the coupon is expected to be 6%, with the exact rate to be set at pricing.

The payout at maturity will be par.

The CDs (Cusip: 48123YUE4) are expected to price Feb. 22 and settle Feb. 25.
