Shale Support requests exclusivity extension to continue plan efforts

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Oct. 4 – Shale Support Global Holdings, LLC requested an extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to a motion filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Specifically, Shale Support asked the court to extend its exclusive filing period by 90 days through Feb. 6 and the solicitation period through April 6.

“These extensions will allow the debtors to continue their efforts to confirm their proposed plan, which is presently set for confirmation on Oct. 29,” according to the motion.

A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 29.

Houston-based Shale Support is a provider of logistical services and frac-sand. The company filed bankruptcy on July 11 under Chapter 11 case number 19-33884.
