S&P affirms Braskem

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its global scale ratings, including the BBB- corporate credit rating, on Braskem SA.

At the same time, the agency said it affirmed the Brazilian national scale rating on the company at brAAA. The outlooks remain stable.

"Our ratings on Braskem reflect the strengths of its business profile, based on its dominant market position, diversified feedstock and favorable supply contracts," said S&P credit analyst Rafaela Vitoria in a news release.
