S&P rates L3Harris notes BBB

S&P said it rated L3Harris Technologies Inc.'s expected senior unsecured notes offering BBB.

The rating is in line with those of L3Harris’ outstanding senior unsecured notes.

The company is expected to use the proceeds to repay a portion of its term loan due in 2025. The company entered the term loan in 2022 to fund its $1.97 billion acquisition of Viasat Tactical Data Links.

The outlook is negative.
