Chicago, June 11 – StoneCo Ltd. sold an inaugural bond issue for $500 million of seven-year notes (Ba2) with a final yield of 3.95%, according to a press release.
The notes are guaranteed by Stone Pagamentos SA, based on an S&P Global Ratings press release.
The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include financing the investment in Banco Inter, the growth of the business and the financing of some debt.
The orderbook was multiple times oversubscribed.
