Fitch gives Nomura International notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A- long-term rating to Nomura International Funding Pte. Ltd.'s 10-year U.S. dollar senior unsecured notes, which are a drawdown from its note, warrant and certificate program. The senior unsecured notes are guaranteed by Nomura Holdings, Inc., rated A-.

“The rating on the guaranteed notes is aligned with the long-term issuer default rating (IDR) of the guarantor, NHI, in line with Fitch's criteria. This is because the repayment of principal, interest and all other amounts payable is unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by NHI,” the agency said in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
