Moody’s gives China Construction Bank notes A1

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned an A1 rating to senior unsecured notes to be issued by two branches of China Construction Bank Corp., including the yen-denominated three-year fixed-rate notes by China Construction Bank, Tokyo Branch and the Australian dollar-denominated three-year floating-rate notes by China Construction Bank, Sydney Branch.

The notes will be issued under the bank’s $15 billion medium-term note program.

The outlooks are stable.

“The notes' A1 rating and stable outlook are in line with CCB's long-term deposit rating and outlook, and reflect the structure of the issuance,” the agency said in a news release.
